Artist Bio

Rooney G. (They;Them;Theirs) is a Chicago-based theatre artist with a focus in Stage Management and Directing. They are a recent graduate from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Theatre Directing and BA in Entertainment Marketing. 

Post-graduation in 2022, Rooney stage managed for award-winning Invictus Theatre Company during their 2022-2023 and 2024 seasons, including Jeff-Recommended THE MOUNTAINTOP, Jeff-Recommended THE CRUCIBLE, and TOPDOG/UNDERDOG. They also stage managed at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2023 with John Hancock Productions. 

As a director, stage manager, and deviser, Rooney is focused on growing as a theatre artist in Chicago.
